Rolls-Royce offers in its range a special collection for the elite of the elite named Black Badge. The Cullinan has just been entitled to a version.
All in black! After the Rolls-Royce Ghost , Dawn and Wraith, it’s the SUV’s turn of the prestigious English brand to have its Black Badge version. These special models offer an even higher level of customization. Carbon fibers, diamonds and other materials more exotic and luxurious than each other.
“Black Badge reflects the desires of a distinct group of Rolls-Royce customers: men and women who take risks, break the rules and build success in their own way. The time has come for the boldest and darkest expression for Rolls-Royce, “ said Torsten Muller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
In case you missed it, the Cullinan Black Badge will be dark. Door handles, side rails, grille surround, exhaust cannulas … everything is black! The 22-inch wheels have been specially designed for this model Black Badge of the most expensive SUV in the world. For the first time the brake calipers of a Rolls Royce will be colored.
Inside, Rolls-Royce has created a luxurious carbon fiber finish that features six layers of lacquer before being allowed to dry for 72 hours and polished by hand. Starry Sky adds even more shine to the interior with its 1,344 individual fiber-optic cables mimicking a starry night.
Aesthetic but not that
This Cullinan Black Badge version is not just about interior and exterior trim, it also has a small engine upgrade . The 6.75 liter twin-turbo V12 gains 29 horsepower for a total power of 600 horsepower. It also gains a few Nm of maximum torque and now displays 900 Nm. This is enough for this tank to shoot down the 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.9 seconds.
The prices of this new version of Cullinan have not been announced yet, but you should expect a price of around 375,000 euros , about 25,000 euros more than a standard Cullinan.
